New AR Dino Portal and 3D interactive dark ride at BoldMove Nation booth #238

Brussels, Belgium - 8 September 2022. During IAAPA Expo in London on the BoldMove booth, visitors can enter a 360° dinosaur world via a virtual AR portal, a 'Jurassic' like world with dinosaurs in the wild, and an underwater world. AR Hybrid Quest is the first phygital AR adventure trail for theme parks, played on smartphones in a physical environment and adding an exciting digital gaming dimension with virtual portals. Visitors can experience the AR Portal, created with partner ActiveMe, during 10-minute live demos on Tuesday between 2 and 3pm in English, Wednesday between 11 and 12am in German, presented by experience designer Sven Riegel and industry expert Stefan Burian. On Wednesday afternoon partner Fabrice Guichard of Polymorph will present the French session from 3 to 4pm. Finally on Thursday morning from 11-12am a demo session will be presented in Dutch. Smash & Reload can be viewed in a 3D miniature format on the booth. BoldMove‘s family of compact and media-based interactive dark rides combines a fun and immersive gameplay with smart ride technology by partner Triotech. This 'midway‘ attraction now allows a higher throughput by combining several modules in a very creative manner, thus smashing the 800 persons per hour bar. Thanks to the creative expertise of the BoldMove team, the Smash & Reload concept and its almost unlimited possibilities are put to use in a wide variety of media content. In addition to the proprietary "Too Mush" IP, featuring hilarious mushrooms, two very well-known and endearing IPs from partner Mediatoon Licensing are added to the catalog: Marsupilami and the Daltons. In the Daltons’ Big Escape players have to catch the escaped brothers across the town and prairie, smashing pies, cacti and gold bars in a crazy, hilarious chase.
BoldMove Nation partner Klaus Sommer Paulsen, CEO and Founder of AdventureLAB, welcomes you to daily 1:1 Integrated Storytelling Sessions at the booth. Visitors will have the opportunity to discuss how to enrich guest experiences with Integrated Storytelling and immersive experience design. They can join Klaus on September 13, 14, and 15 from 1 to 2pm. To secure a time, it is advised to book a 15-minutes session in advance. Klaus published his book "Integrated Storytelling by Design" in 2021, and his practices unlock new ways of combining story with experience for a variety of existing, new and upcoming platforms. Visitors who have a copy, can get it signed by the author.
Partner Panasonic Connect is providing the three large screens on the BoldMove booth and will be present with its expert and management team to connect with the themed entertainment community. The company provides total solutions support from production to management in the ever-evolving broadcasting industry through a variety of AV products and systems with functions and expandability that enable high-definition video (4K / 8K) and integrated production (IP). Utilizing digital signage, projection mapping, and professional sound equipment, large-scale entertainment venues can be brought to life with state-of-the-art audiovisual technologies, expanding the horizon for the entertainment industry and connecting people through immersive experiences.
Next to its experience design & production services for customized dark rides, BoldMove will showcase its unique and fun family attraction WaterSlider VR. Guests can sit down and enjoy a funky VR Deep Sea Party from a media & motion-based liferaft, housed in a transportable sea container, and wheelchair accessible.
